Second Mead & Vermont Wine Dinner
18 November 2011, 5:30 p.m.
"We were treated to a new world that will forever change my feelings about that little store and the village of Groton. It was another of those special evenings with my wife I will not forget."
- from a guest at last year's dinner
Artesano will offer a five course mead and wine dinner at the meadery in Groton. We are featuring wine from Grand View Winery, and Phil Tonks, owner of Grand View Winery and president of the Vermont Grape and Wine Council, will join us to talk about his selections. We will also feature Artesano's new releases. Hors d'oeuvres will be served at the meadery, followed by a candlelight procession to Brown's Market Bistro. We will finish back at the meadery for dessert!
Our space is limited to 25 people, so please make your reservation early. The cost is $65 per person and includes five courses, mead and wine. Gratuity and tax is included. Reservations are required and can be made by replying to this email or by calling 802.584.9000. Last year we sold out in about a week, so sign up early! Payment in full via credit card will be required to hold your reservation.

New Releases
Essence Mead - Artesano's new dry mead
We take Vermont’s purest honey and gently coax from it the very essence of flowers that flourish on the landscape of the Green Mountains. This crisp and light dry mead complements the discerning table. Pairs nicely with white meat and seafood.
Chili Cinnamon Mead - A small batch mead great for fall and winter
A little heat on the tongue goes a long way to balance the sweetness in this very special mead. This honey wine is the result of many test batches with combinations of spices, herbs and pretty much anything else we thought might work well. The result is slightly picante with a wonderful cinnamon finish. After taking the first sip, we said, “Wow! This one’s great!”
